rash on wheel.

went to the bank yesterday on the way out of town,while trying to go thru the drive up teller i hit one of the dividers that seperate the lanes,now i have a three inch by one quarter inch rash mark on right front wheel.does anybody have any suggestions on how to repair it or any place that does this sort of repair.

i should have went into the lobby but was in a hurry, so how did you fix your wheel,and you know of any wheel for sale would like to get a spare wheel.

Check with any car dealer or tire shop, they all have guys theys work with that repair that kind of stuff...

Can't tell how deep it is?
Anyhow, if it is not too deep, take some wet sandpaper and lightly buff it while spraying water on it.

I have also used a dremmel with a polishing buffer.

Looks pretty deep to me. Kinda like it "feathered" the metal a little on the lip. :dontknow: That just SUCKS bro... makes my heart sink.

yeah i kick myself in the rear every time i walk by that side of the truck,try to be careful then this happens. found a couple of places around here in the phone book that repair wheel ,have to wait till monday to call. and i have a bid on e-bay on a couple of wheels, thanks for all the info guys you all are the best.

Yeah I rashed my wheel when my truck was new too.........I left it that way only to remind me to be more careful next time when stopping to get the mail!!! LOL
