RB1 head unit with Nav disc and GPS antenna

The GPS antenna for a RB4 will not work on an RB1, hence the antenna on top of the RB1 I am selling. The Sirius satellite receiver that was original in my truck with the RB4 will work with the RB1, no issues. UConnect is an issue, it will work, but the RB1 will not show anything on the screen when it is active.

Maps are old in the RB1 I am selling, but you can buy an updated disc from Navteq or on eBay.

you wont find an updated disk on ebay ,,i been watchin for months for one ,,plus the rb1 in our trucks is different than the rb1 that is in many chrysler vehicals ,,i tried one from a diff car that the seller would work,, WRONG

that's strange, I am pretty sure that all rb1 radios are interchangable regardless of the vehicle it was initially in.

As long as the Bus is the same PCI not CAN they should be interchangable (or at least I thought/think they were/are).

In 06 Chrysler went from PCI to CAN Bus so the newer ones may be for the CAN Bus which would be a problem...

i switched my rb4 out for a rb1 but it came out of a ram truck ,,you just have to make sure you have the right disk for that unit ,,i bought what was suppose to be an updated disk for a rb1 that was in a chrysler but disk did not work in my unit :dontknow:

does anyone know the number on the updated disk ????

This is the info straight from NAVTEQ Website. Same Disk for an 04 or 05 Ram 1500 Light Duty Truck.. Chrysler Group - North America Map DVD v.AI Catalog # U0032-0070-910

it should be the same number as the old one just with a differnt letter at the end 56038642A_ I believe the most current disc is H but I could be wrong.

im looking for a nav disk my self for an 05 qc if anyone has one for sale pm me

enforcer,
did you sell the rb1?
I'm assuming so, but.....
Since I'm looking to upgrade from an RB4, I read online on the jeep site I think, that some of the RB1 radios will not work with the premium sound system, which I assume is the amp w/infinitis, which I thought all srt's come with.
I think you need a unit ending with AH or AI, is that correct?
Thanks.
