The bed of my truck is about 1/2 inch closer to the cab on the passenger side of the vehicle than on the driver side. The driver side has a 1 1/4 inch gap at the top and a 1 inch gap at the bottom. The passenger side gap is about 1/2 inch wider.

I have also noticed some creaking and groaning when I enter drive ways and the frame flexes...it sounds as if the sound is coming from between the cab and the bed...

Any ideas?

Am I obsessing as usual?

Mine does the same we have alot of crappy roads. I hear mine doing the same thing going to check the bolts today re-align it and retighten them.

Thanks for the reminder :D

I hit a deer with my truck about a month ago and it caused me to slide into a concrete bridge inbutment. It broke the right front tire completely off and did all kinds of damage. It went to the body shop and they found all the cab mount bolts were just finger tight. That let the cab shift around and damage alot of parts that should not have been hurt.
You might want to check them. It sure made a mess out of my truck.

Will check...thanks.

Maybe the bed is the reason I can't get out of the 14's?! I'll use that excuse too!

Sure thats it lol, ill bet its loose bolts due to rattle from the truck and exhaust, with my old truck i had to tighten everything over and over and over do to the exhaust rattle it was a pain then i just bought some thread glue and said screw it lol.

Ps if i needed to take any bolts off after that i took it to the dealer whohahahahah
