Anybody here know about RC cars? I am in Iraq and we are wanting to get some cars. We dont think we can do NitroMeth because we cant ship it. Having said that, what is the BEST electric RC car to buy? Thank for the help gents....

for the money, the traxxas rc cars are incredible....i've had two trucks and a buggy....the parts are almost always in stock, and they're really cheap to upgrade. the biggest problem with the electric cars is the faster you make them (motors and gears), the less time the battery will last (obviously) which makes it very aggravating...even if you don't get any upgrades, get a good batt...iv'e got some 2400's and 2100's and even then, with my buggy, it only lasts about 6-8 minutes...but for about 50 bucks, you can get a fast charger that takes about 20 mins...so with a few batts, you'll always have one charged...just let the car cool down every now and again...

i also have an associated gas truck, and dammit it's fast...but i guess you can't get the nitro...so....if you can get it, tho...i'll send it to you, but i don't want the feds to show up thinkin i'm tryin to bomb people...haha...

no really, the gas stuff can be really finicky, you got to constantly tune on the carb...or maybe that's me trying to jump over 6' ditches, cars, and whatever else...!!

i have two hpi baja buggies a 23cc and the 26cc ss kit and i live in the UAE, they are a blast in the sand, sand dune tires and a couple of covers, and your ready plus the online hobby stores will ship to an APO. they can ship the oil and you can get regular gas there. the great thing about these is you don't need to tune all the time like the nitro's, i also have a revo 2.5 (with a 3.3 motor) and a t maxx 3.3, if you go this route let me know and i can suggest a few spare parts.
