for those interested in a leveling kit for the rear of the regular cabs post up here.
also post your preferences of aluminum or steel blocks.

but remember aluminum is more expensive.

and i'll try for the 1.75 blocks but 2'' may be easier to obtain

I am in missouri now,but should be in this weekend and see what we can put together

alright, some Qs... will the aluminum blocks crack? as apposed to steel? cost?
what's in the kit? ease of install? :D :dontknow:

I will take what ever you recommend :D :D

we may be able to get both, not sure.
the only thing I don't like about the aluminum is over time it can wear compared to steel, but it looks ten tims better and its lighter.
but the cost of aluminum has gone out the roof! so steel may result in a cheaper deal

When are you guys going to learn that Weight does not equal traction. Weight Transfer equals traction.

We have enough unsprung weight in these trucks. That is why the rear end jumps out when it hits a bump in the road. Steel blocks will only make the problem worse.

Good point. can you elaborate on this further when you have a chance? Or post a link on some info?

it's all the stuff ( = weight ) that's mounted from the wheels up to the springs . It's the total weight that springs and shocks have to deal with beneath them as you would divide the truck in 2 parts : above and under the springs... . And they have a moment of inertia....

I'm interested in the leveling kit , does it helps traction ? or just cosmetic ?:D
And if , aluminium for me ! i have the LPG tank in the bed , so traction weight enough... no , ok , Silverback , weight is not ....
