On my truck, 2" blocks made the rear slightly lower than the stock front. Yours may be different.

Bill.

so should we go with 1.75" blocks? :dontknow:

Sharpi

Park your truck on level ground and measure from the ground to the highest point of the outer lip of your wheelwells, front and rear. Mine had about 1 3/4" difference from the factory.

Bill.

When I had the blocks made for mine, I went with 1.75, which lowered the truck 2.0 inches. Remember, when you lower only the rear, you will shift the CG aft just a hair, which changes the load on the rear.

And before anyone asks. NO, it will not give you more traction, as it's probably in the neighborhood of 50 to 75 pounds.

I would be very surprised if it is even that much..

Heck you much loose that much weight because you are droping the wing out of the air :p

I got a set of 1.5" aluminum blocks with a steel centering pin. Don't know who made them as they were obtained through an auction. I really like the stance. I wouldn't go any bigger than 1.75". The 2" blocks I started off with made the back sit lower than the front (at least it looked that way). The picture in my sig is with the 1.5" blocks.

ya'll fuggers r gonna drive me nnuttts!lolololololol

I do know the u bolts that I get are hardned and $60 a set which is the same ones I got for the axlez

You would have thought he would chime in earlier.:(

Well Stinker, it's as the saying goes. It's the thought that counts. You went out of your way to try to help out fellow members. You are a good man in my book.

Finally remembered to measure mine. It is 1.75" high in the back then the front. So I would think a 1.5" block would be about perfect.

Stinker,

I'm very interested in the 1.75" leveling kit as well!! Whatever you rec, sir.

And, as the bannana eating monster taught us, it is the transfer of the weight that is important, not merely where it is located.
