you really have to cut holes in the top of the bumper just to get thi bitch on I mean I already did it but it was a bitch jut to get it right but to make it look nice i just ordered one of these because the plug that comes with the kit to cover the holes is really cheesey

Ps: These things are a bitch to install if you break this little spring that guides some bolts through a pipe thats under your car.

There are two different types of hitches available for the Ram. The bumper mount (looks like the one you got) and the frame mount. With the frame mount you don't cut any holes in the top of the bumper. All the attachment points are to the frame. None in the bumper.

The kit I sell does not require any cutting into your bumper at all, it bolts to the crossmember tube and requires that you remove the plug in the bottom of the rear fascia for clearance on the top of the reciever.

I had the dealer install the one under/in the frame, the receiver is very snug under the rear bumper but NO cutting into the bumper occurred....looks very good and comes with a ram black rubber plug and I think it looks okay....my $.02....plus on the frame gives more towing capacity...

Yeah the bearings in the trailer can't handle 120mph.

Yea...I have to put higher speed bearings in my car trailer, when I tow my Lambo and need to keep the trailer maintaining 80 MPH (the rate the car is used to traveling) I tried very hard to find out about towing or not, seems that Dodge just doesn't want to keep buying clutches for the masses...I feel that you wouldn't want to use the truck REGULARLY as a tow vehicle, but once in a while to pull my jetskis, or my golfcart trailer to car shows and even sometimes I pull a 20 foot enclosed trailer with a car in it ( this is 6500 lbs total) with care on the clutch and using it properly, I should not see any problems, a lot of people with auto trannys sometimes cause a lot of problems by how they drive as well....just my $.02

mine is a 2006 and i guess they dont come with the holes on the top for the hitch

You have to slip the bolts between the bumper cover and the tube, (or remove the bumper cover) there is no need to cut or drill. After you cut a hole out, where the tops of the bolts about flush with the bumper cover?
