RC Won't down shift into 2nd gear?

Hey guys...

I have a bit of a problem....

I just got this RC on Wednesday... and I have my first problem...

My truck will hammer through all the gears fine, but when It come to down shifting... it will not go into 2nd gear for shit. The only way to get it to go in... is to go to 1st gear first, then down to second... I made an appointment with the dealer... so hopefully they will get that all taken care of for me..

But... have any of you RC guys had this problem before?

Truck only has 1,800 miles on it... so this is kind of retarted:dontknow:

no, but the electronic reverse lock out is for shit on mine, in a parking lot going 2 mph it works but at 110 it does not! go figure

Been there, done that. My 1/2 gear synchro assembly broke and would not let me downshift into 2nd until I first shifted into 1st gear. Upshifting was like butter though.

It depends on the dealer. Some are affraid to work on them just becasue they have never had one apart. I ended up fixing my own trans. My Dodge dealer warrantied the parts for me.

thats why my our new shifter has a dual gate, you have to manuely move the shifter to the right for 5 & 6th, and that makes it that much more difficult to hit reverse by mistake...............Womsterr needed this new shifter last year...........KABOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!

Just got a call from my Viper Tech... and he told me exactly what stingray said...

It was the gear synchro's that were messed up and dodge is sending new parts out right away...
