just got my dyno sheets back from Woodhouse on a Mustang dyno. Interestingly I didnt reach 5psi until 5200 rpm, 6psi until 5600 and 7.9psi at 6000 rpm. from 5900 to 6000 it went from 6.4 to 7.9.

numbers at the wheels include 535.3@5500 hp with 542.7@4400 tq. this translates roughly to 668/678 at the crank. These seem lower then my previous dyno run but I'll have to check when I get home.

Any supercharged guys that can show me there boost numbers at various rpm's would be appreciated. I'd like to see if this is typical or not.

Youre F****D up! That AINT right! You should be AANYWHERE from 600-640. If u take it to DC youll be more like 650ish.... God my truck BETTER not do that!

It seems like there is not enough boost being built up at the lower end RPM's. I don't know why you would be having to take the engine to high RPM's to get 8 lbs of boost.

Go thru the pressure checks again Dave. I bet u r leaking. AND check for belt dust residue on the compressor housing. I bet you r slipping and leaking. What is the AF??

not to mention my new numbers are lower then the ones before it blew up. Damn I'm not happy right now.

well Dave.....I bet your tuners are being very careful after your last experiences....probably a good idea

big numbers are going to require meth....

my dyno sheets... :

2# @ 2800rpm
3# @ 3000rpm
4# @ 3700rpm
5# @ 3900rpm
6# @ 4900rpm
7# @ 5500rpm
7.33# (maxed out) @ 5700rpm 647.28HP, 616.93TQ

mine are

2# 2600 rpm
3# 3400 rpm
4# 4000 rpm
5# 5200 rpm
6# 5600 rpm
7# nothing til 7.9 at 6000 rpm 668 hp, 678 tq at the crank

Man, I was beaten my brains in over here spent 20g's and they dyno'd my truck at 572rwhp....687rwhp (with a 100shot). That PISSED me off, cuz Patrick is gettin close to me with NO NOS! Thats DC performance man....

Ya, I know, its look though comparing both ours. I told Woodhouse not to deliver my truck right now til I/we get this figured out. Damn I'm pissed. I know Mark had talked with Dan or someone over at DC prior or at the motor blow so they've been in contact. At first they thought it was the lack of cats or restriction, then the boost leak thing came up.

Me and u have had the same problems and those guys have had smooth sailing. The only constant with them is DC. Thats why Im usin em...we got hosed bro. It sucks but at least you r not alone.

I feel bad for you guys, its costing you money and down-time. Hopefully you get it all sorted out soon!

Patrick

I'll add the a/f ratio's for a few rpm's just for kicks;
2500 rpm - 14.5
3000 rpm - 11.6
4000 rpm - 11.2
5000 rpm - 11.1
6000 rpm - 11.3

DAMN! Your A/f's are pretty good and youre not makin any power!!! When my HP was sscrewy my AF was 10.0...Thats weird man. Maybe they can throw more timing at it???Are you running a flash? If u had a VEC i could fix it for ya. Somethin is up...

Yeah Patrick it sucked....At least now I have gone ahead and totally BUILT the motor so NO EXCUSES!

Yup, talk about getting it done right...the first time! I dont think this new ones going to break :p

Dont have a flash or anything. I e-mailed Dan at DC about his thoughts and whether I could fax my dyno charts to him.

Did he get back to you???Chris will fix your shitman.....If your not flashed then u will shift before 6000 rpms. you also will not get 8 lbs of boost.

I am back my shift points back.....call it 5700 rpm....that's where the trq is....

I think the reason for the problems are THE HEADERS.....

Got an e-mail from Dan. He thought my current numbers are pretty standard (530-550 rwhp). He added that with water/meth, blower inlet tube, pcm flash he could get the numbers closer to 630-680 from my current numbers. I'm gonna ask Mark at Woodhouse if they would install and warrenty these items. I'm also curious if there is any additional stress on the internals.
