Based on the dyno sheet from DC performance from previous owner my truck made 620rwhp and 600 ftlbs but when i dynoed it in phoenix i only got 530 rwhp and 500 ftlbs (im having dan retune my truck soon because power drops off). Based on dc performance dyno what am i making at the crank?

71, and take this with a grain of salt bud, but there has been a few paxtons running around out there that supposedly made 600+ hp from builders

but when dynoed elsewhere they all came up a little short bud, all in the 550 or less range.

it really depends on the tune, one can do many things with a dyno to make it read any hp you want jsut about.

dont worry about what it makes, people stress way too much on the allmighty ''number''

what you want is a good clean running truck with no probs, use the dyno as jsut a refrence point for the next mod

when i first got the truck thats all i looked at was number but now that i ben on here it doesnt matter to me as much cuz i'm not spending money like other have. i know that there will always be someone bigger, faster, and more powerful. i know the dyno dc performance uses reads higher while the one in phoenix reads a lot lower but more accurately.

was just curious about drivetrain loss. once i have more money i will be taking your advice about getting gauges so i can monitor my truck more closely.

Arrest, i have the paxton with belanger headers, high flow cats with the secondary cats cut out with magnaflow exhaust.

bud it will make 600, not a problem, but you need the right tuner to get it there, but honestly we are building Eddies engine to be good for about 1800hp

but he is gonna stay at around 700, unless you do a ton of modifications, any more than that is absolutly usless.

the best advice I can give you is find a good dyno close to you , for your altitude, dyno it, find out the air fuel mixture, get it on the money, dont even look too much at numbers( lolol yeah ok)

but with that, you can move forward from there, big numbers are all in good, been over the 1000 mark myself, is it worth it......one word..........no

will i go back?.............prob not
