Rear axle

Can anyone tell me the diameter of the rear axles on a 2004? I dont need any guesses...looking to find out the exact size from someone that knows for sure. Thanks

No sense doing whatever it is your going to attempt. There is no good parts for the axle in our truck. Trying to make them better is a waste of time and money.

I'm getting my ducks in a row to do a watts link on my truck. I'm not trying to make the axles any better. Just trying to find out the diameter of them is all

the diameter of the axle is 2 1/2" where the bearing sits ,right at the wheel flange. Cheap caliper,might be a bit more. how exact do you need?

I need it to be pretty close...def within the closest 1/2"
