Has anyone had issues with rearend noise after a dyno session? Mine seems to have some noise. Changes abit when I slightly turn right or left. Seems to almost go away when I turn right. Gets louder when I turn left.
Wish my hearing was better. Hard to pin point.

if you think it is coming from the rear, put it up on jack stands and spin the rear wheels by hand you should be able to hear something. If not take off the rear cover and spin look for cracked gears, etc and there should very very little play in the carrier and that would be side to side. Just a thought before spending some bucks at the shop.

:top: ,,,i had my 99 v10 3/4 do same thing last year ,,,double check for gear oil level in diff..,,,mine was almost out of oil

sounds like might be time to change assend juice & double dose the friction stuff

 :dontknow:  :elefant:

I will check the fluid. Its not leaking but that is a cheap check. Thanks.

while you ar back there remove the cover and see what damage is in there. if a clutch pack came loose the parts floating around will create damage. check it before it gets worse!

Good news....our rear ends are generally pretty tough. Bad news...our rear ends are open throughout. If clutch pack, bearing or anything let go the real fix is to completely strip the rear end and flush/replace all. Been there done that

I had an axle bearing come apart...

depending on the mileage its probably the clutches got hot on the dyno, or the spiders are fixing to take a crap ,
