So after the debate of whether or not to use a seal from Oriellys (National) . I decided to go ahead and use it. It fit right it. Now about the spider gears. I ended up taking them to my local transmission shop and had them compress the clutches and insert the spider gear. The guy said it took em about 2hrs and charged me $20. Well after that got it all put together in 3hrs. I used Valvoline 75-140 with 1 bottle of friction midifier based on an old thread i searched here in the forum. So far so good. She feels all normal again. Thanks guys.

did you use a case spreader or did you muscle it in and out or should i say out and back in ? i did a dana but on a floor and had to use pry bars and straps to get it out and hammer and wood to get it back in, my girlfriend wasnt to happy when i was telling her about my experience with Dana but when i asked her to help hold dana down while i hammered it in so it wouldnt roll off the floor jack she got the idea lol.

Great job man! This sounds like work for an expert and not a novice. If this is ever the case for me, I will either ask E to give me a hand or take it to a shop and sit this one out.

... I took the spider gears out while the carrier was still inside. I took the center pin out and turned the axles. They fell right out. im not sure what the guy used to spread it open. Im sure he used a special tool made up of a bolt and washers. I could have done it my self but i just didnt want to deal with strugleing to put them in. Besides, you cant beat $20 ha

You know its actually a really easy job. Like i had mention, the only PITA is inserting the spider gears. everythinng else was about removing bolts and putting them back in. They way i look at it in a nut shell is:

1.Remove wheel
2.drain oil and remove cover
3. Romove c-clip by simply pushing axles inside
4.remove both bearing caps (4bolts) and lightly pry out the carrier

Bata bing bata boom.

If you dont want to fight inserting the spiders gears
Into the carrier, than take the carrier it your local shop.

Now the tedious part is cleaning.
Making sure you have drained and cleaned very good inside the Diff. And on the end of the axles

Depending on how far you want to take it you can (highly suggested) replace the wheel seals and bearings. Bearings looked good on mine so i just regreased them and replaced the seals. $30 for grease and seals and took 15mins to switch em out.

As long as you have the proper attitude, it can become easy. Luckily you have E to give you a hand which will make it even easier. It was just me my self and I with out a car lift ha. But i also had the forum and the webs help.

Speaking of here is a link from DANA on how to service the Limited Slip Diff/Carrier. This should be a "Resources" Sticky. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www2.dana.com/pdf/5314-2.pdf&ved=0CBoQFjAAahUKEwiawbWHze_IAhVEz2MKHZsTBwM&usg=AFQjCNHkkBsJ25PEBAgZkw10DuDwqHtqNA
