Well, As many sick burnouts as i accomplish, and just general ass Hauling and Neiborhood terrorizing. (The housing comity has been forced to call the police TWICE)..... Im joking, Or am I???

My rear tires are a little worse for the ware.
I have a set of spanking new new rubber up front, But that cost over $400. Now that is is time to replace the rear tires, What can i do to get better Look and Traction. ASSIDE FROM CALTRACS,

I have seen people putting racing Slicks on there trucks for Everyday driving...... Can i get a Set of Used racing rims for the price of new 22 inch tires???

Or am i just Metaphysically Blowing Smoke???

I am running Cooper tires and they hook incredably well! I spin maybe 1/4 of what I did with the stockers! And they are cheap!

I have heard good things about the Khumos and the price is not bad either. I would not run a racing tire or drag radial on the street. Yes the traction should be better, but the tires will wear out a lot quicker and in the end you will be spending more money. Looks like the BG Goodrich KDW are really good but wear out quicker than most.

Im running Khumos on the front right Now..... I like the tread pattern

I was just hoping for something a bit more Exotic.

But if its not going to be around the same price as new tires, Then i guess ill just drop it....... Ohh Well

For me I would rather have all the tires with the same tread pattern than two different treads. I would put the Khumo's on the back and leave the Pirellis on the front untill you decide which route to go. You may decide the Khumo's will work for you in the back and just get them all the way around. It would be alot easier than doing a racing tire and probably cheaper.

drag slicks on the street? :p you're kidding again... right? :p besides that may inhibit your burnout shows :burnout:... if traction is what you want you could always put a traction control system in it <buhahahaha>

Traction Control

You do NOT want to run slicks on the street. The sidewalls flex like crazy so handling sucks. Any moisture on the road will point you the way you have just come. Last but not least real drag rims are meant to go straight, pressure on them going through corners on the street can make them fail... seen it happen.

Not sure if Nitto makes the EVO in 22" but for a street tire they are badass. Have a set coming for the Viper. I've been happy with my BFG KDW2's for an all around street tire on the truck, much better than the Pirellis.

JMB makes a traction package that utilizes the stock slapper bar. Also, I heard Nitto is going to make some 555's for our trucks :) which is what I would want to get.
