This turned out kinda neat, thought I'd share it. From the inside it's more transparent than normal tint, even at night.

Well, if you do not laminate it with clear, it is harder to see through in the rain. If you laminate it with clear it's harder to see though when dry, but rain does not really affect it because it's a smooth surface, if that makes any sense. So it really depends on the application we're doing as to whether or not we recommend lamination.
 
We charge $100 for these. They are really pretty easy to install now that I've learned to cheat and use soapy water to ease the installation. We send them larger than they need to be, you just trim the excess off with a razor blade or some such sharp object. My guys all make fun of me, they do it dry, but my motto is win if you can, loose if you must, but always cheat...LOL!!!
