Anyone know if it can be open with a jim? Truck is onthe trailer so you can't open the door - my son shut the window! ;)

Do you want me to look at my window for anything?

Can you get under the truck????? If so, just disconect and remove the driveshaft and roll the truck out.

I just checked my truck and it is almost impossible to get it to open. Better off getting the truck out first.

Thanks guys...i'll just disconnect the driveshaft then tomorrow. Gonna freeze my ass off ! ;) Scrambler is gonna think I ,ran off with his sweet trailer like I threatened! Gotta start taking stuff off anyway...the tranny, crossbrace and start looking at the damage.

I kinda hoped I could slide a credit card in the rear window and open the window. Good this is my son is small enough to fit in the window - bad news is he's 8 and didn't realize we need it open hehe...

Glad you made it back safe. Hehehe I knew I'd get it back when you were done. Take your time, I don't need it back until this coming weekend so I can move. DO NOT BREAK THE REAR WINDOW!!! You can't just buy the slider, have to get a whole new rear window... personal experience. Also coat hangers will not get it open. I do live in downtown though, if you need it broken into there are some pro's around here.

gonna have to put the back wheels on rollers. only problem is, no brakes! another idea - figure out how to pull out the rear window glass without breaking!

Well the trailer is steel diamond plate and fairly slick, hook another vehicle up to the trailer hitch and simply drag it back enough to get the door open, don't even worry about disconnecting the driveshaft. Feel free to put some oil on the deck if you want and its having trouble getting moving. If you need help call me tomorrow, I'm free all day. Not working this week since I'm studying for finals on and off. I'll get it off w/o hurting it.

You wouldn't believe some of the simple redneck engineering stuff I've made work! When your other hobby is trail only jeeps you get lots of practice!!

Joe

Hehe...thanks bro - ...the truck has a hitch on it and ass is sticking right out...no need to oil the deck....a simple squirt of a garden hose should do it. I feel like a dumbass - can I blame my 8 yo haha...

Course i could always floor in reverse and slam the brakes ;)

Sure you can, my dad blames me for all kinds of shit he shouldn't do. When the back tires touch the ground just pull the trailer out from under it. Your neighbors are going to think you lost your mind.

Joe

Too late - they already do!

Actually by neighbor next door is way cool. He is 85 years old and an old mopar guy. He has two 300Cs - used to have one in the 50s too. He has his cherry 67 Bug - original owner!, and an S2000. His nephew is a pretty famous hotrod builder in Cali but I can't remember the name. They just finished a car for Jeremey McGrath last year...

looks like you have it sussed, i was going to say be carefull with the back window. The plastic track it sits in is fragile - mine is broken already just from cab twist! - i know its a warranty job but im not freighting it back to the USA to fix it.....
