I recieved these last week , will be putting them on next week as i am having some repair done in the garage ramp .

first impressions : these seem very well made , heavier than the OE 06 QC springs and than the xmetal 2/4 lowering springs .I will weigh them tommorow.

I started to take out the xmetal springs to put in stinker's to find that the XM are shorter . I will cut 1/2 a coil from these before i put them on ,as i dont want to raise the front
here are pics of the 06 QC OEM , Stinker's and the Xmetal springs .

I will keep you all updated on my findings .

You may not necessarily raise the front with a taller spring. It is dependent on the spring rate (although I think Stinker's are stiffer?). With a stiffer spring, then yes you will raise it. You are also effectively changing the spring rate by cutting the spring down, but I don't know if it would be enough to notice a difference (you would be making the spring stiffer I believe).

yeah I had them made to be 1.5 inches lower than stock, and 10% stiffer,

thats the size everyone wanted to go with  :D

caint wait to here the results bro:D

Tony

I have no problem putting them on , but what will i do to the back . Its already on its highest level and the truck is level . Maybe fit these with lowering shackles . but i think it will be still too high at the back.

Please HURRY and get these bad boys on! Many here are waiting with baited breath to pull the trigger on them :)

Thanks for the update. Good luck with the install and don't forget that this is for fun:) . Oh, and remember to take safety precautions when working around coil springs--they can hurt yah! Be safe and enjoy:D .

I also have one set comming and trying to put the entire kit together, the front springs, the rear flip, and rear shocks.

As soon as we hear from Hashash(hopefully with all fingers still attached:D )
we should be good to go.

but I do want to send the full kit out too, to make sure the flip kit is going to work for most.

so as soon as all the parts come in , I will go ahead on that part, then after that is concluded we will have an initial group deal on the springs and the full kit:rock:

Hey Stinker. If ya need any volunteers to try out "new" items. I dont care to be the guinea pig truck if thats what it takes;)

I'm hopefully going to pic up a lowering kit some time soon. I think I smell a group buy! :marchmellow: You still want to get rid of that grill Tony?
