recieved Stinker's QC springs

Is the vibration in the front end of the rear...............

So far's I can tell vibration is always because of pinion angle/ driveline angle

Concur with Jay.

There are threads dedicated to this issue.

A buddy of mine bought a gineric flip kit for his QC. Did the install him self, no dla gage or any of that. Took it apart, fliped it and put it back together not only does it look and ride GREAT there is NO vibs under hard acceleration.

heres a pic, says it handles better also!

mines the 4x4 on the left!

thats what it looks like in the front when you cut one coil out.

I wonder what the difference is between the rear suspensions of the '05 QC's vs. the '06 QC's, that causes a vibration to show up only in the '06's? A difference in the drive shaft center support bearing location maybe? From what I have heard, the frames on the '06's are from the 3500 series of pickups. Maybe the leaf springs mount in a slightly different location, or the rear axle mounts at a slightly different angle giving the drive shaft a different angle? Are the shock mounting locations the same? Anyone have any thoughts on this?:dontknow:

the entire suspension is different, the main thing is the angle of the driveshaft, it jsut takes a little to get it correct;)

It takes a lot of work to get it right or as close to perfect on the 06's. I can say under moderate acceleration it is still there but only I can feel it. It woudln't be noticeable to your passengers. I'm starting to think it is more a center support issue than anything else. If I recall correctly, Dodge had a bulletin on some of their 2500 and 3500 trucks for driveline vibrations which included a new center support and a new driveshaft.

I'll be williing to guide anyone through the whole setup. Stinker does have all the details of my fix.

preliminary pics , hows that?

The preliminary pic looks great Stinker. Looks like a good ride height both in front and back. Any new news, what's the next step? Any more teaser pics or feedback from road testing?:D

Not your truck 6 pack, its Yfvr in hawaii, so far he loves them:rock:

but gonna try one more set just to be sure, hopefully released very soon:D

Tony what all is done to that?

Your springs, and a flip kit?

what flip kit?

Bout damn time...............did I mention yet that my wife could've installed the springs by now? :)

**update
I put Stinker's springs in the front with QA1s all around . I went yesterday for a drive ....its much better now . The ride is more controlled , its much less bouncy than the boomer springs . I have the QA1s set at 10 in the front , will probably try 12 .
I think that stinker has done a good job with the spring rate , it rides very good .

thanks Tony

Jsut wanted to add that Tony gave me a good deal on these springs , so they are a steal considering the quality.

Thanks Tony.
