On the phone yesterday Patrick called me out.....he has been a busy little beaver.....new slicks.....a part here a part there.....endless hours consulting with Fstjack. (this is the only part that worries me :D )..

I accepted after he laid down the rules....no N20 and street tunes only on the ECU....

But he has not posted the challenge up after telling how much he was going to kick my ass.....

Soooooo P......we racing....?

Yes, you are correct mike, I did call you out not...not officially on the forum yet (but I guess you did it for me LOL). Yes, there will be a race between mike and I...The only thing that makes me wonder, is what he will 'all of a sudden' have done to his truck a few days before the race hehehe. When my truck gets the driveshaft loop installed and we both receive our slicks, we will give it a shot.....oh but wait! Mike, you gonna have rear calipers by then?? :D :D

You just worry about your own truck.....If you have a brake solution that allows you to run 16's then post it up before I lose control and slam into your lane at 118 mph....The life you save could be your own.....I can understand holding back on the performance mod info until after the race but to let me race brakeless when I don't have to......man that is just selfish....:D ....oh and I have some tricks up my sleeve Junior....

And yes; it is truck to truck. quad cab to regular cab.
Poor old row your own antique broke down stick shift vs improved modern technology with state of the art torque converter for improved launches and no missed shifts.

Who wants to make the Vegas book on this one.

Both trucks have to be NHRA legal for obvious safety reasons.

As Forum owners and participants we cannot be involved with anything that is not safe for all concerned.

Choose up sides and let the discussion begin.

I will be involved in the set up of patrick's truck in a very limited technical way.

I read a book on drag racing years ago so I are an expert.

Patrick, you gotta practice, practice, practice....don't want any missed shifts, and you need at least 1.6 60's or it won't be a race:burnout: What track will this be held at? A real mans track like LACR:rock:

Man up; It's time you made that truck something but a brakeless wanna be.

Deal with the brake issue and don't skirt the isssue of safety hiding behind inuendo.

The point is put some brakes on the rear so you arn't left setting on the curb letting the ants eat your candy ass.

I will probably have my old antique raggedy Chevy running first. I will have to drag it up to a track where you will be, I know it won't drive that far being old and all that.

I just don't know how I could handle a modern supertank like you have.

But I guess this must be run what you brung............:D

Does anybody really care about the dumb wing anyway.

I'll bet Mike threw his wing in the trash long ago.

But it is an idea.
