I was getting a smell when running my A/C or defroster, and after reading a few threads I decieded to move my catch can. I have read that some people have actually moved it out of the engine compartment. I did not make that drastic of a move as I like the looks and easy access to it in the engine compartment.
The huge bonus this relocation is that I can now drain the catch can without removing it. I just stick a cup underneath it and drain it
The results is a greatly reduced smell from the A/C. There is still a slight smell but I think it may just be residual. I need to clean both filters (CAI & catch can filters).
