If you plan on making a pass at the NATS, you have to have long pants, closed shoes (no sandals), a helmet if you run in the 13's, and a sleeve on your shirt ( t-shirt is ok, no wife beaters or muscle man shirt)

Since we only get one pass can you just tell them you will run slower then 13's. For most of the R/C's that is what they will run anyway. How strict are they on the helmet? I have gotten away with my flight helmet at other tracks. Here is a picture of my helmet.

I got yelled at (no joke) and told not to go down the track again without a helmet. I actually brought one but the tech guy said I didn't need one. Go figure. I briefed it up with Jim (I believe the Nats track manager). He said if you run a 13.99 or lower, you need a helmet, bottom line.

Let me know if anyone needs one. I have a few extras and three for kids.

NOS, they never checked my truck for it.

They did state long pants and regular shirt to run.

i had a hat for a dirt bike but gave it away when i sold the bike.

Nice helmet Scott!! The PR's really like you, huh!?

Being nice goes a long ways. That and giving them some beer for when they hook you up.
