remote starter and cut outs

for xmas my parents are gettin my a remote starter for my 05....anyone have a remote start? works with push start? also if i remove my back 2 cats and weld cut outs in place will that work? does the engine run off back pressure?

I have been using Tje CompuStar Pro with alarm and has been working very well, the Viper remote start alarm will work off the smart start that's kewl
