removing dealer badge

I searched around but couldn't find an answer. My dealer put one of those annoying sticky badges on the tail gate. What is the best way to remove? Looking for cheap and easy.

depends on the badge. usually they are just flat vinyl and that scrapes off pretty easily with a fingernail or a credit card.

Applying a low to medium heat to soften the adhesive works very well. You will most likely need to clean the residue. Usually just a damp soft cloth should work for that.

Use a hairdryer and plastic scraper, and if you have residue left behind from the sticker, try "cheap" car wax if you have any ( these usually contain kerosene to get the carnuba to be soft enough to use and gives the smooth-slick shine) a little kerosene will remove the glue and soft soap and water will cut the kerosene...my $.02....good luck

warm it up like everyones' said ...either by letting it sit in the sun (depends on where you are though) or warming it with a hair dryer, then use some 30lb. fishing line and saw back and forth behind the badge (if you wrap the line around your fingers..wear gloves). then use some goo-off to remove the left-over adhesive...polish and wax.
