Guys I spent the hold day yesterday at a friends electronic shop trying to figure out how to remove the LAMPOUT on the display. The resistors should be in by end next week. I had him order me 10 pair. If it works and we can get rid of the pesky LAMPOUT in the dash I wouldmn't want to keep my brothers in the dark. I'll keep you guys posted, and I don't have a price yet.

I know that feeling all to well!!!!I've got some LED bulbs sitting here because of that very reason !! Not enough current draw to fool the computer !!!

The key is to figure out what impedance the load resistors need to be, I know for my buddy's MB we used 6k and 8k I think:dontknow: Need to double check with him. Its all about fooling the body controller. Let us know what you come up with, I'm getting ready to do my HIDs, gonna do yellow HID fogs as well:rock:

Wish I was back in Naples,I have an electrical genious that installed my Alarm system that could fix it in a heartbeat !!The door locks on these trucks work in a similar fashion depending on the signal to the resistor !!!Beats the F outa me !!!:dontknow:

Any luck yet? I'm gonna do a search, I thought I remember reading a post a while back where someone bought an HID setup (from Boomer maybe?) and they were supplied the correct resistors. Once I know which ones I can make a plug and play harness for it.

i need this fix tooo had my truck at the dealer they were asking all kinds of questions of why it was on

16.95 each 8.00 shipping they have them in stock has anybody done this and knows they will work

Good looking product. The question is that correct impedance load for our trucks? It shows a 6ohm load, anyone try it to see if that's what the body controler wants to see? I think I have a few of those laying around somewhere if that's the case.
