I recommend removing the entire grille off the truck. It is held on with 8-12 nuts. I forgot what size. Then put the grille on some towels so you don't scratch it and use a small punch to push the rivet centers out. Keep a watch for each one you press out because they can get away from you. Pull the rivets out and the grille will snap out. Install new grille in reverse order.
welll put. I just did mine about 3 days ago. I dont have a camera or else I would have posted pics. And i do agree it was easier to take the whole grill assembl off and set it on some towels. I used a large blanket. I also went to the Hardware store and bought a roll of Screen door material and put it behind the grill. It helps keep crap from hitting the radiator, and all I do once its destroyed is either rinse it off or slip in a replacemnt. its up to you.Good luck with the install
