Push up on the red lock then press the black part and pull off. Remove both torx bit screws and pull off. Should take you no more then 5 minutes to replace. Think Autozone sells it for about 30 bucks
I can not for the life of my figure out how to get the clip off of the TPS. I do not have a red clip to be able to unlock although i do know what you are refering to as i have seen them on other sensors. This is a picture of the underside of my TPS and clip. How do i get it off to get the new TPS on?????
Got it thank you i have never dealt with a release that small.....not that i'm a professional or any thing. When he is reved up to 3 or 4 G it still seems to pause for a second between 1500-1200 on the way back to idle and some times once again around 800 RPM....i will post a vid later. Maybe this is how it is supposed to be but i figured especially on such a performance engine the RPMs would return to idle much smoother than they are.
