replacement seat foam??

Any leads on where to get a replacement seat foam for a 05 ?? thanks
 
who and where???? got a good one to go through? I have searched and so far the searches defalt to a regular 1500 ram.
 
they are discontinued.
 
Sorry to revive this, but I bought my truck 2 weeks ago and have noticed that I am sitting on the metal bar on the left side every time I get in or out. Put my hand under there (cut my damn knuckle on the razor blades for seat rails) and realized my foam had been worn away. Is a custom upholstery shop the only way to fix this then?
 
Genos i know has them for the 2nd gen Rams but they may have them for the 05s as well
 
I work for a custom upholstery shop and can tell you from repairing a lot of dodge seat foams even if you buy a factory one they aren't any better. The shop I work for, we repair the foam with better quality material and we base underneath so not to let the frame cut through as easy. At the cost from the dealer for foam sets, I know we are cheaper to just do the repair. You should check with your shops.

Definitely be careful around the seat frame edges! More than one of the guys I work with have went to get stitches from grabbing the seats wrong.
 
Thanks Crazy! What's a round about price I should pay for the lower seat foam replacement? Maybe the one patch of leather too?
 
A typical cost for a job like that would be around $160-250 depending on how bad the foam is an how many peices of the cover needs fixed.
Most factory foam sets start about 200 an go up an there, but that wouldn't include fixing your cover.
