I see these killer 700+ hp cars on TV with disc brakes and A/C....all the looks of the 60's and the performance of today....

but how do you get your hands on one...?....

That's easy. Build your own, or have me do it for you...:D That's the only way to go. I've built four restorods, a '34 Ford, a '66 Chevy P/U, a 64 Vette, and a 69 Z28 with all with late model engines, big brakes, the whole works. Buying some one else's work would scare the shit out of me...decide your ultimate fantasy muscle car, or engine or what ever gives you a woody and build a car around that.

I'd like a V10 Viper motor or a 572 big block chevy in my '72 Blazer :) Some day I'll finish that thing.

Build your car around a woody? Isn't that what the Viper is for? :p

Barrett Jackson is one way. It's tough to find what you want and trust the build. I've bought and sold a slew of old cars, I've had pretty good luck. The 300L I had blew up after 30 miles. Nature of the beast.

If you're serious about it, pick up a goodguy's magazine. That is where the beauty queens are built. Prepare for minimum 65k

looking to spend 90ish.....but I want SEMA quality.....

Superformance across the street from Road Atlanta has Cobra's and Daytona Coupe's just waiting for what ever engine you want to put in.:)

ooohhh.....ahhhh......how long......to build....?....:D

That's gonna depend on what you want done. If the car doesn't need any body work etc, it won't take long (3-6months), if the car needs to be completely rebuilt from the ground up, it's a year long project, best case. Do you want a trailer queen or a driver?

Looks to be a bit out of your $ range, but:

But really, you're better off finding a clean, relatively stock example of whatever model you want to build and building yourself. You get exactly what you want, you can build in steps as you feel like it, and you know everything is done right. How comfortable would you be buying something built to say, the level of your truck, without knowing anything of the history, builders, tuners, etc?

Try HotRodHotLine.com and carsonline.com and HemmingMotorNews.com.
I perfer HotRodHotLine, some top notch vehicles. I sold my 34 Chev ProStreet on that site.

I have a couple of places in my Favs that I'll have to dig up.

One is a company that builds "Eleanor" clones. REALLY NICE clones. As in, they have a $150K version.

The other is a company that drops a Viper engine in an old(er) Cuda. I think they called it a "Six Shooter" or something like that.

I'll post the links later (after the hockey game).

In the meantime, enjoy:

I think the same company that did the Better Off Dead Camaro also does the "Six Shooter" Cudas.

Here's a link to the Six Shooter I saw years ago:

Surprise, surprise...it went on Barrett-Jackson. :D

The company that was selling the Eleanor, "Super Snake", and "King Snake" replicas is gone. Not sure what happened to them. I remember OCC built a bike for them.....then....nothing.
I Googled as well. Zip.
Sorry man.

Thanks Rdebow. I couldn't find them last night.

$214K for a KingSnake (it was $150K last year).
Ouch.
