My buddy Rickys SRT4 Powered 89 Mustang. Goal is 2500# race weight plus driver, 8.50 cert safety, 700+whp, deep 9's or better ET at 150+MPH. It currently has a TH350 trans in it for mock up (may go to a TH400), and a 8.8 Ford rear. Car is completely gutted and being built from scratch, only factory Ford will be the body. Heres the progress so far:

Slick work! Did my eyes deceive me or is there one egt bung welded onto each of the four exhaust runners?

that's bad ass! how hard to convert from transverse installation to the longitudinal?

You want one in your truck, don't ya :D

Nice work. Keep us updated when it hits the track.

Thanks Guys!

Yes, hes planning on running e98 or e85 and it will help to tune it

I made the trans adapter setup, from there really the oil pan/pick up tube is the only thing thats required for the motor to operate correctly.

why mess around with the th350/400 that car is light put a glide in it:D

You have to remember this is a small ci big turbo setup, it doesn't have a huge power band, most likely will be 5000-8000, too narrow for a 2 speed IMO.

Excellent work like always Justin, looking great! Thats gonna surprise a few after it rips down the track!:burnout:

Cage and suspension work is next, then EFI and wiring. He has a new baby on the way so it will probably be on the back burner soon, hopefully not though.
