I don't know if this is legit or not, but I voted...

Supreme Court accepting the District of Columbia case against the right for individuals to keep and bear arms.

It is so simple

ALL other rights are to the individual,why is this one being questioned by the gun-grabbers ?

"...the RIGHT of THE PEOPLE to KEEP and BEAR arms,SHALL NOT be infringed..."

How can anyone mis-understand that ?

"A well regulated militia..." The militia was made up of citizens (this was not in reference to an ARMY)

That word "regulated" is where most of the confusion comes in

In modern usage it means " restricted", in it's archaic usage ( as used by the writers of our Bill of Rights) it meant "equipped"


So ,in modern language it would read "A well-equipped militia being necessary ..."

Most of those in the political world are highly educated and some were even lawyers,so they are not ignorant of the meaning and intent of the 2nd Amendment,but rather they are puposely obfuscating it's true meaning

Believe it or not I was sincerely hoping for everyones sake that things would not be bad. I never dreamed that they would be as bad as they are. It seems obvious now that the words demagogue and spin are the defining words that apply to this administration.

The whole point of the right to bear arms was for the people to defend themselves from a tyrannical gov't. If the gov't wants to take your arms now, what does that tell you?

I voted, but I think the poll will go nowhere. Most news/reporting agencies are so bass-akwards that they will only report the anti-gun stories. Had the poll been 96% against the 2nd Amendment, there probably would be a huge story written on it. I bet it disappears into the archives...
