Just got the news that I lost a good friend. Cowboy Bob wasn't a biker, in fact I don't think he ever threw a leg over a bike. He rode horses instead. He was a blacksmith and the best I ever saw. I have some incredible pieces around here that he gave me. Way back when I was first chasing Daosa he fed me encouragement, he had a lot to do with us getting together. I haven't seen him in a few months, shit always got in the way. Let this be a reminder to stay close with those you love, you never know when they are going to be taken from you. I'm gonna miss the hell out of the old guy. RIP Bob.

Bob, You have lost way to many friends in the last few years. RIP Cowboy.

Words of wisdom, thank you for the reminder.

That's for sure. I'm getting tired of attending memorials. At least I haven't been to a funeral. Seems not too many folks are doing them these days, the move has been towards memorial parties.

Speaking of which this is gonna be one to remember. They are closing off the main road he lived off of. There will be real big procession of horses and riders leading him home in a horse drawn carriage.

Afterwards there is going to be a big party, that had already been planned as a benefit to raise money for his medical expenses. They are even having hay rides for the kids. Sounds like it's going to be a great sendoff.

Sorry for your loss, Bob... Sounds like a great guy. Blacksmiths are a rare breed these days. I can only hope he had a apprentice.

Rest In Peace, Cowboy.
