RIP Marty Gibson GBNF

Lost a good friend yesterday, Marty Gibson. Marty was the mayor of the last town I lived in and from day one treated me like we'd known each other our entire lives. When I owned the bar there he had a rival bar right across the parking lot, but that never came between us.

He lost his fight with cancer yesterday after a long and hard battle. About 3 or 4 years ago he was diagnosed with cancer and beat it with chemo and radiation. He was pronounced cancer free and was regaining his health when he found out that the shit came back. He couldn't beat it this time. He'll be sorely missed, he really was a great guy.
