Anyone in the southeast know of any track days or HPDE's in the southeast? Lookin to do some corner carving in the big dodge.

I'm sooo close to giving you a ring for those parts we discussed Boomer!! I just need a yes or no from the guy who has told me he wants my truck. If not, I'll be ordering those goodies from you. Sorry its taking so long. There is a GenIII Viper owner who will be in the NASA Rocky Mountain group this year.

If you decide to go to Roebling in Savannah, let us know. There are several here in Florida who would probably LOVE to go do that!! (Me included!)

I live up in the panhandle (Ft Walton Beach). Right now my plans are to try and make the Aug Road Atlanta event (I know RA like the back of my hand, Thanks Forza Motorsports!!!!) under the HPDE1 since I dont have an instructor sign off. Then make the Oct Barber event under HPDE2 with hopes of going HPDE3 next year. I'll have to see what my time and budget is, I may like to make the Roebling Road session in Sep.

My family used to own the concession stand there and I worked the tower and safety observers for some of the races. Plus all my fam is there. When is the races at Roebling Roads? I would like to go if I can ever get in at Roe to get a meth kit and a tune.

Roebling Road is in Sep. Not sure if I'll make that one. Im hoping to get to the Road Atlanta one for sure since I know it like the back of my hand (Thank you Xbox and Forza Motorsports!!!). I'm also going to have to see when Im going to be home and not "gone". I'll keep ya updated.

What sort of things are required in order to race in these events? Do you need to complete a driver safety course of some sort?
 
Yea I was reading alot on that site yesterday, it definately sounds like something I would be intrested in. What is the rules / safety requirements for a convertable car?
 
Bolt in or welded (functional) approved roll bar is required regardless of what class/division you run.
