For Sure!!! I know everything I have done to my truck was info I got from here. Probably saved me alot of headache!!!!:)

Last I checked, my rod through the motor motor was still in my garage. Wonder what the circumstances were on the one you've mentioned.

I "hot rod" mine evey day. It's curious that DC can disallow a warranty repair because it was "hot rodded". It's a hot rod coming off the show room floor, for crying out loud. They built it to appeal to the hot rod crowd. Why else would they put a Viper motor in a pickup? Then to say it was abused is BS! Am I abusing it if I hit 60 or better under WOT on the on ramp? Sorry for the rant - been saving this up.

I agree, stay stock like the rest of us.

One of the things that hurts all of us owners is when someone mods their truck, damages it, swaps out the parts to make it stock again and then tries to get the dealer to warranty it. They catch someone like that and then they start to suspect everyone, and we all can possibly suffer.

If you decide to mod your truck, take responsibility for your actions. Over on the TDR (Turbo Diesel Register) diesel site they have a saying for this. "I am my own Warranty Station."

And yes, it pisses me off when people try to screw DC with warranty claims.
