Rods and Pistons

Several of you (Stinker, Bone)have been helping me trying to find Pistons and Rods for my truck. But I know not all of you read every post on every thread so I thought I would start a separate thread for this specific question.


Where can I get some forged rods and pistons?

Roe Racing used to carry the Diamond pistons. I am not sure about the rods.

Smoke I jsut have not had time, something has come up at the last moment

so I apologize, it would be when I return from panama before I could investigate.

My suggestion would be to call Justin direct, beg , plead, plum down on ya knees for a good deal, then swear to never tell the price to anyone at all

Perhaps call KC or Kevin at Underground Racing? Tell them Stinker sent ya Ask them about the choices available, they'll push you in the right direction and possibly you could buy them from them. I'm sure they have plenty in stock given the amount of cars they've been building.

If Justin can get them I'd go there first, as you know he's a great vendor and supports our forum.

ViperSpecialty is another good source too. I talked to them before about engine parts. I believe they can have the rods and pistons custom made for your particular motor.
