Had Midas put in the flowmaster bolt-in I ordered from Roe. They had a bit of a fight with it and I don't think these guys were in the top ten of their class at muffler school. The mounts were in the right places but they couldn't get my pipes to slip in enough so a little cutting took place. Then the clamps didn't seal so I had them weld it up. Then some heating and bending of hangers to center the tail pipes. After all that I sometimes get a little buzz just above idle and there's more vibe's lugging on the highway. The muffler is aluminized and it stinks real bad which will go away with time. Sounds good from the back and is a bit louder in the cab. I don't think there are any performance gains for my truck. My recommendation would be to go with the stainless cat back and check out your muffler shops. Also had an Ameraguard bedliner sprayed in and it looks great.

Dude that is funny!!! Well maybe not for you....but you have a way with words!

There is a reason most of us have gone with the Magnaflow catback......quality, fit and tone are very good IMO. I had flowmasters on my 03 hemi truck and loved the tone.

How about some pics of the truck with the bedliner.

Crawled under the truck this morning to find that rattle. The muffler needs to go forward 1" on the mid pipes. The tail pipe is rubbing on the bumper mount so everything from the muffler back needs to go forward. Damn, back to Midas.

That sucks, man.

I wanted that raw throaty sound so I had two Flowmaster Delta 40's welded in place of the stock muffler. I'm not sure I gained too much but I don't think I lost anything.

I ran a 8.5 in the 1/8th this past friday which converts to a high 13 so I'm cool with what I got.

My advice for anyone wanting to go the Flowmaster route is to just go to a small muffler shop and get two (series of your choice, I went with the 40's because of the sound) welded on for $200.00, I thought about getting a stainless steel catback but I just love the throaty drone.
