ROE CAI HELP

Installed my CAI onto the Roe setup today. I didn't have enough time to install the black hose the comes out of the side of the intake that goes into the filter. The hose was too short. I temporarily installed a small K&N filter onto the end of the hose. Is this OK? I'm going to order a longer piece of hose from ROE tomorrow. I'm attaching a small photo I took with my cell. Sorry about the picture.

Lol, i know! I couldn't even zoom... soooo grainy. They do make 1.3 MP camera phones now.

Where did you get this CAI? Im begining to think it should all be made of flex rubber like the stock which stays cooler( even though doesnt look good!)
