They told us this wasn't a possibility to tune thru the Stock Jtec ECU but I made it happen. What a fun ride !

**EDIT** I talked to Torrie @unleashedtuning.com. He said he tuned it 11.8 with conservative timing. This leaves room for temp and air density changes and remains very reliable.

Christ! Look at how flat that freaking torque line is! Very impressive!!!

Not bashing here but those numbers look kind of low. Prof is over 600/620 I believe with the same set up and VEC tuning. :dontknow:

Dynos are not a failsafe way of determing power....operator error, dyno caliberation off, temp, humidity, other weather conditions, elevation, different dynos and just the vehicle individuality can produce large differences in readings....the track will tell the story providing the vehicles being compared run the same track under the same conditions.....I have seen SRT8s that dynoed ~400HP beat ones that dynoed ~440hp on another dyno.......dynos are good for tuning only...

All true stuff.

Talk to Prof and or Roe, and they will both tell you Roys results are not typical. Hell Roy had almost as much power before the SC as I do after.

Congrats on the install and tune.

Roe is working on using the SCT programmer in lieu of the vec unit. Should be more info in the next few weeks.

11.8 is where you want to be at with the Roe.

Did you dyno stock before the mods? If so, was it at the same facility. Hard to compare whether the numbers seem low or not unless you dynoed before them at the same facility. Either way, the fun factor goes up after forced induction!

True but when one reads more than 40 or 50 hp low, chances are somethings not right. ;)

looks like you're about 150 HP low????
How can 550 be 150 low with those mods?

Roe makes no huge claim on HP gains. In fact my meager gains exceed what they claim. (I went from 373 to 490. That is a 24% increase.) Roy started really high to begin with.

Roys original numbers came from Dynoing with the 4:10's.

You will get lower numbers with the 4:56's and even lower with the 4:88's.

My original dyno way back with 4:56's was around 455, when I dynoed it with the 4:88's and same mods I got 437HP.

My dyno with the 4:88's and the Roe TSTM is only 545 HP thats a 110 HP gain. I think Roy started at 470 and went to 620, a little better gain than me.

There are just so many variations that can affect the dyno!!

All I know is this thing runs like a scalded putty tat!!:p :elefant: :burnout:

Didnt know that about the gears affecting dynos..interesting...another issue to add to the list of why dynos should not be relied on to compare vehicles.. ......Ditto on the scaleded putty tat..
