Roe VEC3 with a blower flash

Guys can if I have a roe with a blower flashed pcm. Can I remove the VEC3 and safely get the truck around on the blower flash?

If I remember those blower flashes were pretty safe tunes.

You will need one of the 2 Bar sensors Stinker has for sale. You can send your PCM to Roe for a flash or better yet buy an SCT tuner (that is what I have) and Sean can email a flash to you.

Well it's got a DC blower flash and I think it has the 2 bar map.

I just need to remove the VEC3 to honor a trade and get it done with.

Larry, can you walk me through removing the VEC. Is there anything special to do?

I dont think the DC blower flash is a good idea for a Roe and you would only have a 2 BAR sensor if it was added since they dont come with the (old) Roe kit...not needed with a VEC....dont know why it would have a flash with the VEC on it.:dontknow: ........Lot of wires to remove for the VEC...just get the install sheet and go in reverse.

It's got the blower flash because the vec doesn't move shift points.

Forgot, you are auto...but the flash is probably Roe since the flash was included in his old kits....but you will need a new flash to run without the VEC...or you will go boom..

The DC blower flash is really made for the Paxtons not the Roe.

As far as timing and fuel, you are fine with the flash alone. I have done it many times moving my VEC around. However, no meth injection.

Probably wouldn't take it to the track or race around, but casual driving to work and back would be fine.

You can take the VEC out in less than a minute.

Obviously, I am assuming you have the same flash/setup as mine.

505.......... Here's what I'm doin, I'm going to make this thing look and run as good as i can. My soon to be tuner told me to ditch the VEC and go SCT. Thats what I'm doin, no big secret.

I told Eddie that I'd trade him the VEC for his drag slicks (350$) so he didn't have to spend 1200 for his monster build. And me not being a liar. Decided to risk lossing the ability to drive it to follow through with my end elbarginO.

I'll get in touch with Sean soon for the SCT.

Also the vec made 575 hp, the SCT made 635 with less mods. I'm not building a mountain motor here, open loop will be good for me

jay im not in that big of a hurry for the vec bro. i havent even started pulling my motor yet. your still good for several more months. id say 3 or 4 at least.
