Roof Height???

Sorry, for the dumb question but since I don't have my truck with me I'm looking for the height on a dropped RC. Finalizing my shop plans and want to make sure I have enough room for the truck on the lift without going to high.

I have a 10' 4 1/2" ceiling and it is not tall enough. 13 -14' would do better.

6 foot to 6 foot 2 inches todd, mine is lowered but too it is on jackstands at the moment, with the tires being about an inch and a half of the concret

your welcome, with a lift I think you would need about 18 ft ceiling or thereabouts,

Don't forget to to take into consideration room for your garage door and opener. You might go with a ceiling high enough to have a vertical lift door. It will just go straight up the wall and not have to break back. In that case you use a jackshaft motor mounted to the wall beside the door.

If your ceiling is 14 to 16 feet high and you go with an eight foot tall door, the door will only have to break back a section or two. Anyhow, just another thing to think about.

didnt think of that, but i guess you do stuff like that dont you

so i was thinking 18 ft on my building if i get to build another, that would give it a ........hmmm. now you got me thinking
