What weight should I use?? 10w30 :dontknow:

I've been running RP in my truck since I purchased in May 2005 and installed the accusump with that first change from Mobil 1 to RP. I've only put 2800 miles since buying the truck new and have not changed the oil. I know that they suggest changing it ever 3K miles, but is there a time limit when you should be changing your oil no matter the mileage?

I change mine yearly if I do not hit the mileage.

I was wondering the same thing and never got a answer on my thread. I went onto RP's website and a supercharged big block should use 20W50. I bought some yesterday, but havent changed it just yet.

I called RP and they told me to use 10/40 until they come out with the 0/40...

6-7qts Amsoil series2000 0-30, Top off with Amsoil series2000 20-50 extreme racing oil. Use the 100% Sythetic microfibre filter.

Test or change once a year.

This is the stuff and I have 0 affiliation wih Amsoil.

Probably be alright during the winter but 30 is too thin for summer..

BTW...Stinker now sells RP...not the cheapest but I saved gas by not driving to the parts store..
