Roz in Panama City Beach: Sept 5th - 9th

Well, some plans changed. My folks and I were going to be going to Savannah during the Labor Day weekend, but the following week seemed to work out better for everyone else. My dad had never been seen the Gulf of Mexico and his sorry @$$ has been all over the world with the Navy. I mentioned PCB, and he said sure so we booked a Condo on Thomas Dr.

Anyways, the plan is for us to leave outta here on the afternoon of the 5th and arrive in PCB, just in time to check in and get a night's rest. We're planning on relaxing the whole time, and as far as I know the schedule looks to be WIDE OPEN. So if anyone in the area wants to meet up, I'd more than happy to peel my sorry ass off the beach and come have a drink or thirty. We'll be staying until the early afternoon of the 9th and heading home.

Saturday is the 8th. . . If it's Saturday sometime, I'd be game for sure!

. . . And if you meant Sunday, I'd be pressed for time. I imagine we'll leave in the early afternoon.

I'm THINKING about following my folks down, so I'll have the truck, but I doubt I'll take it. . . :dontknow: :burnout:

I'm trying to justify the fuel charge, and the mileage blah blah blah. Seems the enjoyment factor will over-ride all the "important" stuff! :rock:

I think its a good thing I don't live extremely close to any beach, I'd be trying to get toes in the sand for any reason!

thats how it is with us. if we didnt have a family condo down there it would be much harder. since the room is already paid for its a lot easier to go. just checked the calendar that weekend and it looks like im off. ill find out if the wife has any plans for that weekend.

amtrucker22, Stick, EMT, Eddie and I are all somewhat local. I don't know when stick will be back from the boat. He lives in Panama City. We could have 6 trucks including you if everyone can go.
