Steve,
I am looking to install my switches for my line lock and nitrous. Can you make labels for these switch covers. Or better yet, can you engrave the labels into them?

Dale,
I don't know how I missed this thread...my bad!!! The answer is yes, we can either engrave labels (or several different materials) for you to put on these, or send them to me and we can lazer engrave the labels right into them.

My apologies for the delay in responding to you!!!

Steve,
Send me the address, and I will get them on the way. The ones I have are not flat on the tops. They are slightly rounded. The attached pics are the actual covers.

Thanks.

It doesn't matter, the laser can navigate rounded surfaces without much effort. Our address is:

1895 W. 6th St.
Suite #1
Fayetteville, Ark 72701

What are you going to want us to put on them? We could maybe do Viper logos or somthing on the sides and label them on the front or something cool like that...:D :burnout:

I want Line Lock, Heater, and Nitrous. I want them all in the same letter style and size. Getting the logos would be awesome, as I intend to back light them with a led.

Ok, once we get them I'll have the guys measure them up and send you some font/style ideas and we'll get them done for you. Thanks for your business!!!

dale,

where'd ya get your switches & switch covers ?
where did you get your line lock from, jmb ?
where did you mount your switches ?

I got the switches and covers from Radio Shack. I then got new high quality switches from Kevan. The new switches are LED tipped, but the LED is lighted all the time.

The line lock is the JMB kit with the Stinker lines. I have not mounted my switches yet, but as soon as I get the truck back I intend to mount them like Kevan did in his DIY article.

Hi Steve,

I got those from Kevan. I am not sure of his source. I have contacted him, I will have to wait and see where he gets them from.

Randy,
Kevan gets them from his supplier. You will have to touch base with him. The special thing about his switches is the led being on all the time. All of the LED tipped switches I found were only lit when the switch was on. If that is not a concern, there are many internet sources of high quality switches.

Toggle Switch Guard and Labels
These are Top Quality. Go to McMaster-Carr Page 848. They have all sorts of stuff which can be used on veh's.

Guard

Label for Vertical-Mounted Switches

Label for Horizontal-Mounted Switches

Guard and labels fit around 15/32"-32 and M12 threaded toggle switches ( 1/2" panel cutout diameter).
Guard protects your two-position toggle switch (with a maximum toggle height of 0.69") from accidental activation. Cover is made of red phenolic. It is spring loaded and locks in the open position. When you close the cover, your switch automatically returns to the off position.
Labels indicate whether your switch is in the on or off position. Both are made of steel.
Each

Guard 1143T1 $15.35

Per Pkg.
Label for Vertical-Mounted Switches (5/Pkg.) 9423T11 $5.43

Label for Horizontal-Mounted Switches (5/Pkg.) 9423T12 5.43
