drunk driver hit my DD ranger, front frame tips bent to pass side a little, hood/pass fender bent sideways, bumper crushed. bumper took the brunt of the hit, all lights still worked and air bags didn't go off.
insurance totaled it out, i bought it back for 800 bucks since it still drove straight and i never use the pass door anyway. sent me a salvage title. kept driving it to work for 9 months
9 months later i went to re-register it and Nevada says "wait a minute, you have to replace EVERYTHING and get it inspected" there is no state inspection here, just emissions.
spent 500 bucks to get the frame straightened and replace the windshield and talked the inspector into letting it go without a bumper since i had been driving it for 9 months with a current registration AND a salvage title. after inspection they sent me a new REBUILT title so no more salvage title.
truck still looks like crap but still drives straight and reliable even if its a furd
