The song is "Girlfriend" by Matthew Sweet, and the solo is played by studio-guru guitarist Robert Quine.

I used that song because I think it's about time I make Mikey my bitch.

The difference is with the intros to each video.
One is a hat-tip to one of my favorite movies of all time.
The other contains an inside joke that only VTCOA members would understand.

The in-camera mic kinda sucks, so you'll have to crank the volume up a bit to hear what I'm saying.
I might re-do them with a decent mic.

Hopefully it's a little clearer.
