Saturday morning we got an early start to the track. Pete (MrHemi) and his friend Justin came to Ken's house and we caravaned to the hotel and the Cracker barrel for breakfast Where I got to meet Scott, Earl, Stinker, and Joanne. Once again, as always with the VTCoA, group it was the people that made the day with the trucks just bringing us together. We went to the track and were able to start running about 3:30. Blake and the True performance crew showed up a little later and Chad came in about after the truck eliminations/shootout.The track prep was great and the air was very good. There were some good numbers put down for the first time out with brand new combinations. Tony is definatly out of the 14.00's, and deep into the 12's when he finally gets his truck tuned it is going to fly. NBT was having some problems with his VECII, and we think it was running very rich. It was bogging badly off the line. His reaction time were very good with unreal consistancy. Pete did a great job for his first time on a drag strip but despiratly needs Caltracks as his truck had bad wheel hop (even shifting into 3rd.Scott is a natural and is going to be a player in bracket racing. He picked up everything very fast.Earl did race in the shoot out.Blake's truck just hauls ass. He ran an 11.31 at 126+ on motor only. Dave from Truc Performance was there to do some tuning on the truck along with some of his crew and family.Chad got to the track too late to get in the shootout. One of True Performances customers had a QC at the track but did not want to drive. I "barrowed" the truck and got in the shoot out my self.We all had a great time and had tons of fun. After the shoot out it was open test and tune.Chad had his new M&H drag radials, BYE, BYE spider gears, His truck is in Tony's trailer and hopefully will be dropped off somewhare today, to be fixxed this week.Ken's truck rearend started making noise after his last pass and we think it has a chipped tooth on the spider and or side gears. He is driving it gingerly and we think he can nurse it home.Good day overall with everybody unhurt and laughing at the Outback for dinner.

What are you talking about? Was there a GTG? Why didn't anybody tell me?.......This Chopped Liver thing is getting worse!:D:D:D:D:D

Congrats Guyz on another successful Family GTG!!!:)

Sounds like everyone had a great time. Jack is right, the GTGs are fun, but the people, and especially the dinner parties are the best.

Bill.
