We subscribe to his methodologies. We had Bark Busters come to our house many years ago and train us. They were big proponents of the alpha dog approach. I am an evangelist about the "who's in control at your house." A dog that is a calm submissive dog is a happy dog. Bark Busters believes in the walk as a training method, but they do not believe in the wear the dog about before the training (this method has brought harm to some dog...ones that are unhealthy), but aside from that Cesar knows his job and does it extremely well.
Frankly without my wife and I being the alpha dogs...we would not be able to control the "pack". Our only issue is the front door bell...sends them into a frenzy, but they calm down quickly. It is quite hard to round up 11 dogs and make sure they are calm when we answer the door. Also having four puppies doesn't help either. Outside this they are fantastic. My avatar picture was taken while training them the boundaries of the front door. They are not allowed past the entryway unless invited. Helps with the door answering.
