Scam at CARS.com Beware

I've had my truck on eBay for sale for the last week. Yesterday a potential buyer sent me an email showing a listing on Cars.com for "MY" Truck complete with pictures and descriptions from the eBay listing. The seller was someone in the Houston area named Jason. He had it listed for 16K, half of what the eBay listing was and a telephone number. This listing was done as if could have been a dealer the way it was posted. I contacted the Cars.com fraud department and they cancelled the listing and told me they would promptly investigate this seller. This unfortunately ruined the sale but I have another bidder to work with. They will be getting a nice truck with a lot of goodies.

By the way I will have some stock parts to sell shortly and will make post.

I still have the title and it's sitting in my garage. But according to Cars.com it has been sold for 16k I guess we know what kind of auction site Cars.com is. I wonder if Jason scammed someone out of 16k.
