Well, my laptop with all my serious software on it has had a Pepsi Challenge, and lost big time.

But to my luck when I purchased it from Dell, I purchased the extended warrenty. The shipping box will be here today, had to remove the drive, memory and battery, then call FedEx. The laptop will be completely rebuilt and refurbished and returned to me in no more than 10 days at no cost to me.

So, I guess for the next 10 days or so, I'll have to turn on the damn desktop and work on it.

Trust me, Pepsi and Laptops do not do well with each other.

Invest in a 500GB external hard drive. Seagate sells one that is small and portable for $100.00. Simply plug it into your USB port and violla!!! I back up my important stuff to mine every other day.

if you are going to do that go to walmart spend the 100 dollars on a 1terabite western digital world book its wha ti use to backup all my pc's to.

Hard drive isn't a problem, the motherboard and keyboard are fried. Hard drive is fine. But good old Dell is going to fix it and ship it back, all I have to do is reinstall the battery, hard drive and memory chips when I get it back
