SCT Fan Problem

I just plugged in the new SCT Tuner And wow what a difference, i highly recommend it to any quad cab owner for a few extra horses in the stable. But my fan will not quit running, and it is not overly hot out either. is this due to not having the 170 Thermostat? i've seen a lot of members here with that in there sig... and will it burn out the fan to have it run non-stop like that??

I Bought mine at NAPA.....I coundn't take the fan noise very long....took about 1/2 hour to install ...
